Who we are

I hold a college degree (“licenciado”) in Information Sciences awarded by the Universidad of the País Vasco (University of the Vasque country). I have worked at the infography department of some of the most well-known newspapers in the Spanish speaking world such as El País, El Correo (Bilbao), and La Nación (Buenos Aires) for ten years. In recent years, I have focused on the design of infographies for the digital Multimedia, and at the same time, from my position in 90grados I have tried to reach companies and institutions which are not related to the daily news world in order to make such a dynamic instrument as visual communication available to them.

I have received several awards in journalistic design contests, such as the SND, Society of News Design. In 2001 I was awarded the Peter Sullivan prize at the World Infography Summit 'Malofiej'. Since 1996 I have received several gold, silver and bronze medals.

After working for many years in publicity and graphic design I joined the world of journalism. I have worked for well-known newspapers: La Nación (Argentina) and El País (Spain). Moreover, my work has been published by several publishing houses in several newspapers in both Latin America and Europe, in publications such as El Gráfico and Gente in Argentina, Cinco Días, Diario As, Cadena Ser and Canal + , digital publications in Spain, the on-line version of the French newspaper Le Figaro and, Santillana, the Spanish publishing house.

I have obtained several awards in the world of design and communications, such as the Peter Sullivan award in 2001, given at the World Infography Summit 'Malofiej' and several gold, silver and bronze medals at this summit and at the Society for News Desing (SND) in the United States.
